Your donations funded specialist clocks throughout the BGH, not just on wards, in order to make our healthcare settings more accessible for people living with Dementia.

Your donations provided new switching equipment for our Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service

 

Dementia Friendly Crockery

Your donations funded blue-rimmed crockery which, compared to plain designs, help frame the food better which in turn improved food fluid and nutrition of patients, particuluarly those with a cognitive impairment.

 

Peer Recovery and Wellbeing Course

Run by the Community Mental Health teams, your donations helped 72 patients in the community to learn to use alternative strategies to manage their symptoms and take care of their own recovery.

 

gym memberships for cardiac patients

Your donations provide gym memberships for Cardiac patients using the LiveBorders Health Conditions and Exercise Referral programme to provide appropriate, preventative physical activities.

250 staff gathered for the first NHS Borders Staff Conference focussing on wellbeing and resilience and also launched a Compassionate Leadership Programme
