Grant-Making in Action

We support staff to enhance the care and experience for patients and the community of NHS Borders and meet the wishes of grateful donors who have generously supported your ward, department or service.

These donations go above and beyond core provision to:

• Provide funding for innovation and state-of-the-art equipment that improves the health and/or experience for patients

• Fund staff training and development opportunities to improve knowledge and understanding of effective treatment and practice

• Support staff wellbeing to enable you to provide excellent clinical and patient-centred care

• Fund improvements to the physical environments for patients and staff

As a charity, all spending must meet our purpose – the advancement of health – and have a tangible public benefit.
